Ruia Library “Must-Reads”
Ramnarain Ruia Autonomous College’s Dr. P. D. Meghani Library has introduced an innovative initiative from January 2022 named “Ruia Library Must-Reads”. The main objectives of this initiative are to enhance reading habit and to increase library usage. Under this initiative every month, the Library collects and displays three reading recommendations from two current faculty members each of Ruia senior and junior college, along with the recommender’s comments about why those books are must-read for them. Students as well as fellow colleagues would definitely be intrigued and interested to know the favorite books of their admired teachers. The recommended books are also put on a physical display in the Library each month. This creative venture aims to encourage the readers to come to the library and read those books themselves. The monthly “Must-Read” recommendations are displayed below.
