Its Governing Body has consciously extended its reach beyond Maharashtra, fostering academic excellence and holistic development across the nation.
Ramnarain Ruia Autonomous College
As a part of this illustrious legacy, Ramnarain Ruia Autonomous College stands as a beacon of educational excellence in India. Since its inception, Ruia College has been committed to shaping brilliant, creative, and socially responsible individuals. Our alumni have excelled in diverse fields, earning national and international recognition and making their alma mater proud.
In 2017-18, Ruia College transitioned to autonomous status, marking a new chapter of academic innovation and excellence. The National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) awarded the college an 'A+' Grade in it's Fifth Cycle in February 2025. Guided by our logo, "Explore – Experience – Excel," we have leveraged this autonomy to design innovative, skill-based courses, including life-skills programs, aligned with contemporary needs.
A hallmark of Ruia College is its thriving research culture. We emphasize the value of experiential learning, encouraging students to gain first-hand knowledge through research and hands-on projects, moving beyond theoretical information from books or online sources.
Implementation of NEP 2020
In line with the transformative vision of the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, Ruia College has taken proactive steps to restructure and enrich its academic offerings since the academic year 2023-24. Key initiatives include:
