Certificate Course in Archive Management

The Department of History has introduced a 3 - credit Certificate Course in Archive Management for the students of Ruia College in collaboration with Godrej Archives, located in Vikhroli, Mumbai. The course, conducted for a period of 4 weeks, includes lectures and practical sessions that aim to introduce students to archival principles, collection and records management, digitization and conservation techniques used to preserve objects in an archive. The certificate course is designed to give students a hands-on experience in archive management. Students will be assessed on the basis of assignments.
