Animal Tissue Culture

Department of Biotechnology of Ramnarain Ruia Autonomous College houses an Animal Tissue Culture Laboratory that facilitates students with experiential learning in the field of Animal Tissue Culture. Key instruments available in the facility are Biosafety cabinets, Inverted Microscope, ELISA Reader, CO 2 incubator, etc. Students of the department are trained in various techniques of animal cell culture like chick embryo dissection, Monolayer Formation, Toxicity assay of different compounds against different cell cultures, etc. The facility thus helps to expand students' knowledge and improve their techniques for their further studies that centralises animal cell culture and its related research.
