  • The Italian Table Workshop was organized on 23rd September 2022 and 24th September 2022 by Resource persons Pallabi Gupta/Roberto M Razito/Alberto Parravicini.

  • The Walk – The Heritage Project workshop was conducted on 14th October 2022 by Ms Alisha Sadikot our resource person, giving knowledge of inner lanes and by lanes of Mumbai having heritage history and beyond.

  • Corporate Etiquettes Workshop was organized on 5th and 7th November 2022 by Wasan Knowledge Hub.

  • Travel Photography Workshop was organized by the department on 19th August 2023. Resource person Mr. Ameya Bhave is a Wildlife and Nature lover photographer.

    Creating a Winning Image – Personality Development Workshop was organized on 12th and 13th December 2023. The Resource Person for the same was Ms. Debarati Roy. She has her expertise in developing Customer Relationships, Leadership and Peoples Skills for sales, customer service, and frontline teams and creating a customer-centric culture in the organization. She has been a luxury hospitality sales leader for a decade and turned into a Behavioral Skills Trainer and an Executive Presence Coach. She is also a certified Image Consultant, and Fashion Stylist (NIFT Mumbai). Through the fun activities she highlighted the importance of personality and ABC Image Management. She explained Maslow’s theory with the use of multimedia. Also, she enlightens students to SWOT analysis, Etiquettes, Netiquettes, Office Etiquettes and Dining Etiquettes through the presentations and group activities.

     

  • The Workshop on Enhancing Professionalism through Formal Dining Etiquette was organized on 10th January 2024. It aimed to instill essential social skills and professionalism. Held at a reputable restaurant, the workshop provided a unique environment for learning and practical application.

  • World Tourism Day is celebrated on 27th September each year to promote awareness about the importance of tourism and its social, cultural, political, and economic significance. The theme for this year was Tourism and Green Investments. Guest speakers like Prachi Mathkar, an Asst Manager at Gujarat Tourism and Neha Sawant Senior Manager in Thomas Cook India Limited shared their experiences of this industry giving valuable insights.

  • A Heritage Walk to Fort Area, Mumbai was undertaken by our faculty and resource person by Ms Riddhi Joshi to acquaint the students about the heritage of the city and highlighting its importance in tourism. Also understanding the design of a heritage walk.
