Programmes Offered
The Department of History offers Undergraduate programme and a Ph.D. programme in History. The Bachelors of Art (History) is a three-year full time undergraduate programme which is spread across 6 semesters. The B.A. History course is aimed at introducing students to historical development and debates from ancient to modern times. The programme is structured to develop critical thinking and analytical skills. Further, students are also trained in the fields of archival science, museum studies and research methodology in History.
