Faculty Achievements

• The department of English signed an MOU with CKT college Panvel w.e.f. 25/09/2023.
• Dr Arjun Kharat edited and published a book titled “Caste, Culture and Identity in Dalit Writing” published by Perception Publications, New Delhi, 2024-ISBN 9789392189906.
• Dr Vikki Gayakavad was nominated and received the 21st Century Emily Dickinson Award floated by BookLeaf Publishing house for his poetry booklet titled Citations published in 2023.
• Dr Vikki Gayakavad Conducted a Workshop on Film Songs titled “I see a voice: understanding songs in Indian Hindi films” at National Museum of Indian Cinema” on 7th October 2023.
• Dr Vikki Gayakavad was invited as a resource person in the Ten Day Workshop on Research Methodology and Data Analysis organised by St. Gonsalo Garcia College and ICSSR on 15th February 2024. He conducted a session on “Foundations of Research Methodology: The difference between Philosophy, Theory and Criticism”.

• Dr Arjun Kharat was awarded PhD Guideship in the subject of English by Mumbai University.
• Dr. Arjun Kharat presented a research paper on “Traditional Critical Approaches as Interpretative Techniques in Literary Research: An Introduction” at the national seminar organised by IQAC and Marathi Department, Kirti College (Autonomous), Mumbai on 24th January, 2023.
• Mr VIkki Gayakavad was Awarded PhD degree in English literature from Savitribai Phule Pune University, Pune in August 2022.
• Dr Vikki Gayakavad presented a paper at the International Conference on Ambedkar’s thoughts on Global Platform in Malaysia organized by INTI university on 25th July 2022.
• Dr Vikki Gayakavad was invited as resource person at a National Conference on Translation and Pedagogy organized by Department of English, Savitribai Phule Pune University on 1st and 2nd February 2023.
