The Rank Ceremony took place in the presence of ANO. Capt. Dr. Manjusha Nikale and the Chief Guests present for the Kargil Vijay Diwas Event - Col. Neelesh Patharkar, Capt Manish Thakur, Capt. Sachin Sawant and Mr. Kamlesh Desai.

This year also Ruia NCC Girls Unit conducted activities and events. We celebrated Maharashtra Din, Environment Day, International Yoga Day, International Day against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking, Kargil Vijay Diwas, Independence Day, Republic Day and Ruia NCC Day.

The cadets performed Asanas on International Yoga Day and Indian Coast Guard Yoga Session. Under Puneet Sagar Abhiyan the cadets took active participation in beach cleaning activity.

Essay competition and Paper Bag making competition were conducted on Environment Day and Swachha Bharat Abhiyan.

Cadets attended interactive, motivational and awareness talks and seminars organized by the Unit and the Battalion.

Ruia NCC Day was Celebrated where the cadets performed piloting, Guard of Honour, Drill, Cane drill, Rifle drill, Flag area, Cultural and Nishan toli. Cadets were awarded for their excellence.

Cadets attended various camps like All India National Nilgiri Trekking Camp, Combined Annual Training Camp(CATC) Camp, Thal Sainik Camp (pre IGC-TSC), Special National Integration Camp(SNIC), Republic Day Camp (pre IGC- RDC), Basic leadership Camp(BLC), Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat Camp (EBSB), Most Enterprising Naval Unit Camp (Pre MENU), MENU Camp, Advance leadership Camp (ALC).

This year second and third year cadets appeared for ‘B’ and ‘C’ certificate examination respectively.

A grand ceremony held at the prestigious Maharashtra NCC Directorate shone a spotlight on the remarkable achievements of its cadets, none more inspiring than CSM. Harshita Waingankar from the Ruia NCC Girls Unit, 5th Maharashtra Girls Battalion. CSM. Harshita Waingankar's journey is a testament to unwavering dedication and unrelenting perseverance. Her prowess in the art of Mallakhamb sets her apart, making her one of the standout individuals among the four cadets honored that day. In this momentous occasion, the honorable Sports Minister of Maharashtra, Mr. Sanjay Bansode, graced the event with his presence.
