Equipment for DBT Builder
Regular PCR machine
The Thermal Cycler (also known as a Thermocycler, PCR Machine or DNA Amplifier) is a laboratory apparatus used to amplify segments of DNA via the Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR).
\
Real Time PCR machine
A real-time PCR instrumentation platform consists of a thermal cycler, optics for both fluorescence excitation and emission collection, together with a computer and software for data acquisition and analysis. In conventional PCR, the amplified DNA product, or amplicon, is detected in an end-point analysis. In real-time PCR, the accumulation of amplification product is measured as the reaction progresses, in real time, with product quantification after each cycle.
HPLC
HPLC is an abbreviation for High Performance Liquid Chromatography. "Chromatography" is a technique for separation, "chromatogram" is the result of chromatography, and "chromatograph" is the instrument used to conduct chromatography.
Fluorescence capable plate reader
Fluorescence plate readers are used for different assays and applications in various fields, such as academic life science research, drug discovery and screening, clinical laboratories, synthetic biology and food or water quality monitoring.
Biosafety Cabinet
A biological safety cabinet (BSC) is a primary engineering control used to protect personnel against biohazardous or infectious agents and to help maintain quality control of the material being worked with as it filters both the inflow and exhaust air.
