ABOUT DEPARTMENT

The Department of Mathematics was established in 1937. Since then, the department has a legacy of creating stalwarts in the fields of research and industry. The department is blessed with good infrastructure and an expert team of teachers.

The department always takes initiatives to develop an interest in Mathematics amongst its students. Various workshops are organized to cater the needs of all types of learners. The department strives to inculcate research culture amongst its students by giving them exposure to various symposia, workshops and research projects at local, state and national levels. Various skill-based programs are organized in order to increase employability.

The department is conferred with the Star College Scheme grant, under which, activities are planned for the overall mathematical development of its students as well as its teachers. We, at the department of Mathematics, strive for excellence and hope to achieve many milestones, in the years to come.
